2025 Women's Golf Awards: Accepting Applications Now

The 4th Women in Golf Awards is currently accepting nominations, with the deadline set for 30 September at midnight. This year's event promises to be a celebration of women's achievements and talent in the golf industry, with nine categories available for nominations.

Nominations can be made through the Women in Golf Awards website (womeningolfawards.com). The categories include Unsung Hero, Brand of the Year, International Woman, Women's Initiative, Women in Turfcare, Women PGA Professional or Assistant Professional, Women's Leadership, Rising Star, and Content Creator.

Each category has a sponsor, demonstrating the industry's commitment to retaining and attracting female talent. The Women's Initiative category is sponsored by PING, the Women in Turfcare category by BIGGA, the Content Creator category by The Loop, the Unsung Hero category by England Golf, the Women PGA Professional or Assistant Professional category by TGI Golf Partnership, the Brand of the Year category by the BGIA, the Rising Star category by Acushnet, the Women's Leadership category by the GCMA, and the International Woman category by Perry Ellis.

Nominators are required to provide reasons for the nominations and examples of the nominee's impact. The independent judges assess each nomination based on the quality of the responses and the detail given. The three finalists in each category will be invited to attend the awards ceremony at Foxhills Golf Club & Resort on 27 November.

The awards ceremony will be a significant event, providing a platform for women to shine and meet one another, as expressed by Nicole Wheatley, Founder of the Awards. The Content Creator category is a new addition for this year, open to any woman creating content about golf that is broadcast, published online, via social media channels, or in print.

Finalists will qualify for a place at the 2026 Education and Insights Day. A waiting list for a small number of paid tickets will be made available later in the year. The ballot for tickets to the awards is still open on the website.

The continued support of sponsors, including The Loop and Acushnet, indicates the industry's commitment to recognising and celebrating the contributions of women in golf. This year's awards are set to be a memorable event, honouring the achievements and potential of women in the golf industry.
