A Compact Danish Residence, Packed with Artisanal Interior Decor!

In the heart of Stockholm, a two-room apartment showcases a delightful blend of Danish design and clever space-saving solutions. This mini but mighty dwelling, beautifully captured by Puk Sjelden (@poppelgade), is a testament to the power of creativity and functionality.

The apartment, adorned with pops of vibrant colour, features a range of unique items such as the mega dot throw and Pujo coat rack. One of the most striking features is the electric blue recessed shelves, painted with Sadolin code U9.48.19, which contrast beautifully with the dining room wall, painted in Sand from Jotun.

Mette at @monstercircus, a design enthusiast, shared some valuable tips for this charming space. One such tip was the transformation of a simple IKEA stool into a stripy stool, adding a touch of personality to the living area.

The apartment also boasts a handmade built-in bench and mattress, a testament to the ingenuity of its creators. The idea for the built-in shelves, a delicate steel and onyx bookshelf integrated with the room's architecture, was developed by Ester Bruzkus and Peter Greenberg, renowned architects.

The apartment's minimalist aesthetic is further enhanced by a print by Danish artist Sini Salminen, adding a touch of Scandinavian artistry to the space.

This Danish apartment in small spaces is a treasure trove of inspiration for those seeking to make the most of their living spaces. With 15 small space hacks to learn from, this lovely home offers practical solutions for maximising space and adding a touch of Scandinavian charm to any dwelling.
