After a five-year hiatus, Bed Bath & Beyond is making a comeback, and it's all thanks to Kirkland's Home, a division of Kirkland's Inc. With a rich 58-year legacy in the home decor sector, Kirkland's Inc. is poised to breathe new life into the iconic brand.

The first brick-and-mortar Bed Bath & Beyond store since its 2023 bankruptcy and closure of all physical stores has opened its doors in Nashville, Tennessee. This marks a significant milestone in the brand's journey, spearheaded by Amy Sullivan, the CEO of The Brand House Collective, the parent company that now owns Bed Bath & Beyond Home.

The deal between Kirkland's Inc. and Beyond, the parent company of Bed Bath & Beyond, Overstock, Zulily, and BuyBuy Baby, was announced in October. As part of the agreement, Kirkland's Inc. has invested $25 million in Beyond and has become the exclusive brick-and-mortar operator and licensee for new, smaller format "neighbourhood" Bed Bath & Beyond locations nationwide.

To celebrate the opening, Bed Bath & Beyond has brought back its iconic 20% coupon. The coupon is valid at Bed Bath & Beyond Home stores, and big names like Big Lots and The Container Store have also jumped on board, accepting these coupons following the company's bankruptcy.

Amy Sullivan, CEO of The Brand House Collective, emphasises the core strength of their brand and organization lies in merchandising and store operations. Kirkland's Inc. is using this expertise to curate an assortment of iconic legacy vendor partners for the new Bed Bath & Beyond locations.

The comeback of the 20% coupon coincides with the opening of the first Bed Bath & Beyond Home store. However, it's important to note that the coupon can only be used once and cannot be combined with other offers or applied to past purchases.

The original Bed Bath & Beyond filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2023 due to issues with inventory management, slow adoption of online shopping trends, and overreliance on coupon shopping. The retail store in Hawthorne, California, closed its doors in May 2023.

The Brand House Collective is a multi-brand retail operator, encompassing Kirkland's Home, Bed Bath & Beyond Home, Overstock, and buybuy Baby. The company's strategic move to revive Bed Bath & Beyond is a testament to their commitment to revitalising beloved brands and offering customers a diverse range of home decor options.

As Bed Bath & Beyond Home continues to expand, it's clear that the future of this iconic brand is in good hands with Kirkland's Inc. and The Brand House Collective. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting comeback!
