Over 70 companies, small manufactories, and numerous associations have already registered for the event, with large companies like Muckenhaupt, Nusselt, and Knipex offering tours of their sites. Heinz Berger machine factory GmbH & Co. KG will showcase robot cells and CNC grinding machines in action, offering a glimpse into the city's industrial heart.
The central library celebrates democracy in its rooms, while the Sparkasse invites visitors to the Sparkassenturm for a panoramic view of the city. The event aims to present a new image of Wuppertal, showcasing its vibrant energy and engagement.
Danica Dannenberg, who is coordinating the event series, encourages everyone to mark the dates in their calendar. She believes that there is a lot of energy and engagement in Wuppertal that deserves a wide audience.
The kick-off of "Wuppertal 24h live" features a unique door opening to workshops of stages. Opera, theater, and dance theater will present exclusive samples during the opening, followed by catering and opening speeches.
Companies, initiatives, and associations can still register online to participate in the event. Individuals can attend the opening by writing an email. Registration for participation during "Wuppertal 24h live" can be done online, but the deadline is just before the event starts.
