A Testament to Variety and Harmonious Union

In the heart of Euskirchen, the city is gearing up for a vibrant event next September. The Integration Cup 2026, organised by local authorities and backed by notable contributors like Lars Böhning from the Fachbereich, promises to be an unforgettable day.

Last year, the Integration Cup 2025, which took place on the last Saturday, was more than just a football tournament. It was a colourful festival of encounters, a living symbol of unity, diversity, and lived integration in Euskirchen. The event was warmly welcomed by Salih Yavuz, chairman of the Integration Council, who led the proceedings with enthusiasm.

Mayor Sasha Reichelt opened the event with a speech highlighting the integrative power of sports. Fifteen teams from various clubs, authorities, institutions, and initiatives participated, each bringing their unique energy to the field. The matches were fair, friendly, and driven by healthy ambition.

The final game was exciting, and the enthusiasm was palpable both on and off the field. After the matches, all participating teams received gift bags as a token of appreciation, sponsored by Vogelsang IP, dm-drogerie markt, Procter & Gamble Manufacturing, and the Kreissparkasse Euskirchen. Even the youngest guests received lovingly assembled surprises, sponsored by the Volksbank Euskirchen and the EUGEBAU.

Numerous offers provided a diverse supporting program, with children having fun with activities such as the bouncy castle, face painting, and Karlo-Klötze. Adults enjoyed varied culinary options during the event. The Integration Cup 2025 truly was a day of unity, diversity, and celebration.
