On Saturday, 6th September 2025, the Guetersloh Adult Education Center will play host to a Health Day, filled with enlightening lectures, interactive workshops, and invigorating activities. The event, which opens at 09:45 AM, promises to be an informative and engaging experience for all.

The day kicks off with Desiree Solle, VHS Director, welcoming attendees. Following this, at 11:00 AM, Dominik Minkus will deliver a lecture on Psychodiets, exploring the intricate relationship between nutrition and mental health.

At the same time, a session titled "How Good Are Health Answers?" will be led by Dr. Siegfried Roesel and Christian Stickling. This session aims to delve into the question of how reliable health information can be.

For those interested in physical well-being, Silvia Glashoerster will conduct a Gentle Yoga Workshop, while Veronika Bußmann will lead a Chair Yoga Workshop. Restorative Yoga Workshop will be guided by Katja Hanhoerster.

At 12:00 PM, Margret Benoelken from the Consumer Advice Center NRW e.V. will discuss Nutrition in Old Age, focusing on how to maintain a balanced and tasty diet in later years.

In the afternoon, attendees can look forward to a Superpower Singing: Choir Performance with Voice Training Workshop. The U60 Choir of Guetersloh County Music School, under the direction of Markus Berkmann, will take centre stage.

For those seeking insights into international health matters, Dr. Gerhard NΓΌbel will deliver a lecture titled "Care International - A Glimpse Over the Border."

The day will also feature workshops on Autogenic Training and Progressive Muscle Relaxation, led by qualified trainers such as doctors, psychologists, or certified autogenic training instructors. These workshops aim to guide participants through exercises and techniques in group or individual settings.

Lastly, Raphaela Gehle will give a lecture titled "Always there for everyone? What can and do I want to contribute to my adult children's family day?"
