Accidents on the road result in severe injuries

A severe collision on Federal Road 35 near Diedelsheim left a woman in a critical condition on Thursday evening. The incident occurred around 10:15 PM at the intersection with Gondelsheimer Straße.
According to reports, a 45-year-old woman driving a Mini failed to notice an oncoming 36-year-old driver in a Mercedes. As a result, the two vehicles collided at the intersection. The woman was severely injured and was transported to a hospital by ambulance.
The 36-year-old driver and his passenger sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital for outpatient treatment. Both vehicles involved in the accident were no longer roadworthy and had to be towed.
Debris scattered across the road caused minor damage to a third vehicle that was waiting at the scene due to traffic. The total estimated property damage to all three vehicles is approximately 35,000 euros.
The 45-year-old woman intended to turn left onto the Gondelsheimer Straße. Investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the accident.
