BravoTran, a payables automation platform based in Chicago, has announced the acquisition of Keystroke.io, a freight forwarding industry accounts receivable automation platform based in Phoenix. The acquisition marks a significant step forward in BravoTran's mission to become the leading payables automation service for freight forwarders.

The acquisition allows BravoTran to streamline both payables and receivables, offering an end-to-end solution to its customers. This combined automation is a first in the industry, as no other competing product offers such comprehensive payables and receivables automation.

BravoTran's CEO, Tom Durrenberger, stated that the acquisition will save customers time and money by offering a comprehensive solution. He further added that the combined platform aims to produce labor efficiencies and improve cash flows for its customers.

Keystroke.io's platform, designed by its founder Stephanie Kirmer and co-founder David Haynes, provides users with oversight of outstanding invoices across multiple channels on a single dashboard. This feature will complement BravoTran's existing payables automation services, providing a more comprehensive solution for its customers.

David Haynes, co-founder of Keystroke.io, stated that the acquisition by BravoTran is a validation of the innovative product Keystroke.io has built. He expressed his excitement about the opportunities that the acquisition will bring to both companies and their customers.

The financial terms of the transaction between BravoTran and Keystroke.io were not disclosed. However, BravoTran touts the combined payables and receivables automation as a game-changer in the freight forwarding industry, positioning itself as the go-to solution for companies looking to streamline their financial operations.

With this acquisition, BravoTran continues to focus on solving real, tangible problems faced by forwarders in managing their finances. The company's aim is to provide a comprehensive, efficient, and cost-effective solution that will revolutionise the way freight forwarders manage their payables and receivables.
