In the ever-evolving world of the DC Universe, there are several updates worth highlighting.

As of now, there are no new announcements regarding the casting of Batman, following James Gunn's previous statement in July, where he admitted he hadn't given the matter much thought yet. However, it's important to note that Gunn is a known fan of actor Alan Ritchson, both for his talent and as a person.

Ritchson, who played Hawk (Hank Hall) in the Titans TV show, has expressed his interest in having a future role in DC. Interestingly, he has had a conversation about potentially playing Batman in the DCU, although no official decisions have been made.

While Ritchson does not currently hold a role in the DCU, Robert Pattinson has been cast as Batman and will reprise his role in "The Batman 2," scheduled for release in 2027, under the direction of Matt Reeves once again. It's worth mentioning that the DCU's Batman will be distinct from Pattinson's take, set in the Elseworlds, Matt Reeves-verse.

Meanwhile, the DCU team is hard at work on a script for an upcoming project. In addition, Peacemaker season 2 is currently underway, with the release schedule available on the website.

In other news, Alan Ritchson will appear in Reacher season 4, although the release date remains unconfirmed. The upcoming season will be based on the 13th Reacher book, titled "Gone Tomorrow," penned by Lee Child.
