In a heartfelt post, James Moore, the 33-year-old actor known for his role as Ryan Stocks in ITV's Emmerdale, has paid tribute to his late father, Stephen Moore, who passed away due to blood cancer, Multiple Myeloma, in June.
Last year, James tied the knot with his long-term partner, Sophie Edwards, in a lakeside ceremony that was quirky and featured personal touches, including a bouncy castle for guests to enjoy. Sophie, who teaches children with special educational needs, was unaware of James' fame as an actor when they first met.
The wedding, which incorporated seasonal elements, including pumpkins, was a celebration filled with love and joy. Another unique feature was a temporary tattoo station with various Pokemon designs. A Simpsons themed donut wall also added to the fun-filled atmosphere.
James, who lives with cerebral palsy, has chosen to honour his father's memory by raising funds for the charity Blood Cancer UK. He revealed his father's death and shared a donation link, as well as plans for a sponsored climb in Cheltenham to raise additional funds.
