In a strategic move, the recently rebranded Media.Monks group has announced its merger with Cashmere, a renowned culture agency based in Los Angeles. This merger will see an increase in international content offer for the S4 Capital-owned group and expand Media.Monks' content practice within the U.S.

Established in 2003 by Ted Chung and Seung Chung, Cashmere has made a significant impact in the content practice industry, working across various sectors such as tech, automotive, media, and entertainment. The agency's clientele includes household names like Taco Bell, Google, Instagram, Facebook, BMW, WarnerMedia, Adidas, Netflix, Disney, Amazon, and Apple.

The merger continues the business relationship between Media.Monks and Taco Bell, which was established in August when the fast-food giant appointed Cashmere as its culture agency. This move ensures that Taco Bell's relationship with Cashmere remains unchanged.

The merger also brings together a team of over 150 people at Cashmere, all of whom will be part of the merged group. Guy L. Lamaye, the founder of Cashmere, will play a significant role in this new venture.

The merged group will operate in the content practice industry and will have a strong presence in Los Angeles, where Cashmere's content practice is based. The combined entity will continue to create culturally relevant content campaigns for its clients, leveraging Cashmere's expertise in crafting engaging and impactful content.

With this merger, the S4 Capital-owned group will now include Cashmere's content practice, further diversifying its client base and expanding its capabilities in the U.S. market. This move is expected to strengthen Media.Monks' position in the content practice industry and solidify its status as a leading player in the field.
