In an exciting development for football enthusiasts, German club VfB Stuttgart has launched a unique initiative that allows fans to rate and evaluate their players' performances. This innovative move offers a platform for supporters to express their opinions about the team's performance in each match.

Through this interactive system, users can rate each player from 1 to 6, with 1 indicating a poor performance and 6 signifying an outstanding one. The ratings are open for all players, providing a comprehensive overview of the team's collective performance.

One of the most intriguing features of this new system is the 'wake-up call' option. If a fan feels a player underperformed during a match, they can send a 'wake-up call' to that player, signifying a need for improvement.

Immediately following each match, the editorial team at VfB Stuttgart provides a current individual review of the players' performances. However, the results of these reviews do not reveal who stood out or who might need a warning signal. The user ratings serve as an additional source of feedback, offering a crowd-sourced perspective on the players' performances.

This initiative also includes a 'Player of the Game' selection, where fans can choose their standout player from the VfB Stuttgart squad. The deadline for submitting grades and selecting the Player of the Game is set at 48 hours after the end of the match, ensuring timely feedback and engagement from the fans.

In essence, VfB Stuttgart's player rating tool is not just a means to evaluate performances; it's a way for fans to be more involved in the team's progress and to have their voices heard. This innovative approach to fan engagement is sure to foster a closer connection between the club and its supporters.
