Affordable Flat Fares Now Available: Ouigo Offers Seven-Euro Travel to Madrid and Segovia Directly from Valladolid

In a joint presentation, Federico Pareja, Commercial Director of Ouigo, and Blanca Jiménez, Tourism, Events, and City Brand Councillor, announced a new time-limited offer for travel between Valladolid, Segovia, and Madrid.

The promotion, available for registered users, offers a flat rate of seven euros for travel, regardless of schedule or demand, for the next seven weeks. For every six trips made within the promotion period, travelers can claim a free seventh trip.

This campaign aims to increase the average of 1,400 passengers that Ouigo currently transports between Valladolid and Madrid, which represents 70% of the train's capacity. The promotion reflects Ouigo's commitment to promoting economic development in the cities it operates in.

Notably, Ouigo initially operated only between Valladolid and Alicante but has since expanded its offer to include Valencia. The company operates with a stop in Segovia for all its circulations between Valladolid, Madrid, Valencia, and Alicante.

Blanca Jiménez highlighted that more than 30% of tourists and travelers who arrive in Valladolid come from Madrid, and the train option instead of car generates a positive impact on the city's mobility. She added that the new Ouigo fare will contribute to promoting Valladolid as a tourist destination.

Pareja stated that Ouigo does not plan to launch lines connecting Valladolid with other cities in the short term. However, the additional cities Ouigo may connect to in the future, currently only linked to Valladolid, include Segovia and Madrid, as Ouigo operates routes between Madrid, Segovia, and Valladolid, and may expand these connections.

This promotion can be accessed on the web and app, and Ouigo estimates that around 100,000 users will benefit from this fare. With this initiative, Ouigo hopes to boost travel between the cities and support economic growth in the regions.
