Radiohead to Return to Live Stage for European Tour

British rock band Radiohead is set to make a comeback to the live stage after a four-year hiatus. The iconic band, consisting of Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Ed O'Brien, Colin Greenwood, and Phil Selway, will perform in five cities across Europe in November and December.

The shows, scheduled for Madrid, Bologna, London, Copenhagen, and Berlin, will each host four nights of performances. Registration for tickets begins today and will be open for 60 hours at Radiohead.com. Regular ticket sale for the shows will commence a week later, on September 15.

Since their last live appearance in 2018, the band members have primarily focused on individual side projects and collaborations. Phil Selway released his third solo album, "Strange Dance," after Radiohead's last live performance, but no specific new band projects by Radiohead members have been widely reported or released since then.

Meanwhile, Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood have been working on the art rock spinoff project, The Smile, and have released three albums since Radiohead's last live performance. Ed O'Brien released his debut solo album, "Earth," in 2020. Colin Greenwood has joined Nick Cave's live band.

It is unclear if Radiohead is preparing a new release of original material. However, the band is planning to release a new live album, "Hail to the Thief - Live Recordings 2003-2009," on October 31. Their last performance was in support of the album "A Moon Shaped Pool" released in 2016.

Radiohead's upcoming European tour will consist of 20 shows, marking a significant return for the band that has influenced a generation of musicians. Fans are eagerly awaiting the band's comeback, with the tour promising to be a memorable event. Stay tuned for more updates on Radiohead's European tour.
