Agents from the Federal Police detained the alleged individuals in Dresden.
In the early hours of this morning, a robbery was reported at Dresden's main station. The incident occurred in the dome hall of the station and involved a 39-year-old Turkish national as the victim.
The incident was reported to the Federal Police Inspectorate Dresden, who have initiated a criminal investigation for robbery and theft. The suspect in the robbery has been identified as a 30-year-old Polish national.
Witnesses at the scene reported that the suspect was arguing loudly with the victim before the incident. Another witness also reported that the suspect kicked the victim and stole personal items from the victim's backpack.
The further investigation of the robbery and theft will be conducted by the Saxony police, as the Federal Police have opened the case but, due to jurisdiction, the ongoing investigations are handled by the police of Saxony.
