NotebookLM's Gemini chat has also been upgraded. Users can now customise the length of responses and choose from conversation styles like "Analyst" or "Guide." To further aid in memorisation, users can now specify the subject or the front of the cards to be shorter. This feature is particularly useful for users who prefer concise information to aid in remembering key points.
NotebookLM's latest collaboration is with Rice University, which has provided enhanced public notebooks based on academic books published by OpenStax. Six new public Notebooks have been released, covering subjects such as Biology, AP Biology, Introduction to Business, Chemistry, Psychology, and Principles of Management.
These new features, along with the previously released public Notebooks in partnership with various publications, researchers, and nonprofits, make NotebookLM an invaluable tool for school work. It can break down class notes or lesson plans, making complex information easier to understand.
