Aid for Humanity Extended by Bamberg to Mukatschevo

Andreas Starke, the mayor of Bamberg, has expressed shock over the Russian attack on Mukachevo, Ukraine. In a statement, he said, "We are deeply saddened by the news of the attack on our potential twin city. Our thoughts are with the people of Mukachevo during this difficult time."
In response to the crisis, Bamberg has offered humanitarian aid to Mukachevo, specifically in medical care, through the fire department or the technical relief agency. Further coordination between the two cities is scheduled to take place over the weekend.
Julia Tayps, the deputy mayor of Mukachevo, has appreciated the offer of aid, stating, "We are grateful for the support from our potential twin city, Bamberg. The aid will be instrumental in helping us address the immediate needs of our citizens."
Bamberg's mayor, Andreas Starke, has also stated that they are in direct contact with the local city leadership in Mukachevo, Ukraine. Despite the delay in the twin city partnership, Starke remains hopeful, saying, "We are committed to our partnership with Mukachevo and look forward to the day when we can officially sign the partnership document."
