Aid's compatibility with the domestic economy remains undecided by the Commission.

In an unfortunate incident on July 7, 2025, a tractor-trailer carrying 20 tons of meat overturned on the A81 near Sindelfingen-Ost. The truck, a DAF model with a refrigerated semi-trailer, tipped to the right and collided with the construction barrier.

The accident, which occurred around 2:15 AM, has caused significant disruption. The highway in the direction of Singen has been completely closed, and recovery operations are currently underway, preventing the highway from reopening.

Fortunately, the driver of the truck was only slightly injured. First responders at the scene were able to free the driver from the cab. The total damage, including the cargo, is estimated at up to 200,000 euros.

Both the traffic police and the police stations in Sindelfingen and BΓΆblingen were on the scene, with seven patrol units in total. The police headquarters for further inquiries is in Ludwigsburg. For any inquiries, you can contact them at 07141 18-8777 or email them at [email protected]. Their official website is http://www.polizei-bw.de/.

The ongoing recovery operations mean that the highway will remain closed for the foreseeable future. We urge all motorists to avoid the area and plan alternative routes.

This incident serves as a reminder to always adhere to speed limits, especially in construction zones, to ensure the safety of all road users.

We will continue to bring you updates as more information becomes available. Stay safe on the roads.
