In a recent interview with Jackpot City Casino, former Premier League striker and current coach of the Trinidad and Tobago men's national football team, Dwight Yorke, has spoken out in support of Alexander Isak's actions during the summer transfer window.

Isak, a promising young talent, trained away from his Magpies' team-mates during the summer, leading to speculation about his future at Newcastle United. The Swedish forward was eventually allowed to join Liverpool on deadline day after refusing to return to the club during pre-season.

Yorke, who has experience with transfer situations, having moved from Aston Villa to Manchester United, believes it's common for players to want to leave a club for a bigger and better one. He states that players generally want to play for the best teams in the world and compete in major competitions to win trophies.

Yorke does not condone Isak not training or participating, as he is still being paid by Newcastle United and is their player. However, he suggests that people are making a big deal out of Isak's statements without fully understanding his situation. He believes there are always two sides to any story.

Yorke compares Isak's situation to Andy Cole's transition from Newcastle United, citing Jack Grealish's £100million transfer from Aston Villa as an example of a player leaving for a bigger club. He publicly supports Isak's behavior, believing it's normal for players to come out and say they want to move to a bigger club.

Despite Isak's snubbing of the PFA Player of the Year awards during the summer, Yorke does not understand the uproar surrounding Isak's wish to leave Newcastle for a bigger club. He states that it's common in football for players to want to join big clubs.

As for Isak's future at Liverpool, he is expected to be slowly integrated on Merseyside in the next few weeks. Although he is yet to make his official debut for the Reds, Yorke believes that Isak's desire to join a bigger club is a testament to his ambition and drive to succeed in the game.
