The Swiss tuner, dAHLer, has announced a series of performance upgrades for the BMW M5 Touring Typ G99. This high-performance estate car, equipped with a 4.4-liter biturbo V8 hybrid powertrain, now offers even more power and customisation options.
Dahler's performance upgrade boosts the M5 Touring's output to an impressive 830 hp and 1,130 Nm, a significant increase from the factory's 727 hp and 1,000 Nm. This upgrade, priced at 4,310 Swiss francs, also includes a carbon air intake.
For those seeking even more power, Dahler is working on a Stage-2 upgrade that promises 880 hp and up to 1,180 Nm. This upgrade, expected to be released soon, will also include an increase in the factory's Vmax limit.
In terms of suspension, an alternative coilover suspension is available, allowing individual height adjustment and featuring fully adjustable dampers. Customers can also opt for Sport springs, which can lower the M5 Touring by 25 mm at the front and 15 mm at the rear, priced at 2,020 Swiss francs.
Dahler's performance upgrades aren't limited to power and suspension. They also offer in-house forged aluminum wheels, type CDC2, with 22-inch diameters. These wheels, priced at 10,420 Swiss francs, feature a unique double-spoke star design, specifically designed for current M models. The matching tires are in dimensions 285/30 front and 295/30 rear.
The performance upgrades also extend to the interior, with an Alcantara sports steering wheel available for 2,180 Swiss francs. Dahler also offers new floor mats for the M5 Touring.
A stainless-steel complete exhaust system can be installed on the M5 Touring, priced at 5,640 Swiss francs. This system offers optional remote-controlled bi-clutch operation and features black twin tailpipes, available in 108 or 114 mm diameters.
Finally, Dahler offers a three-piece carbon front spoiler lip for the M5 Touring, priced at 2,790 Swiss francs. This spoiler aims to enhance the vehicle's aerodynamics. It is available in either exposed carbon or painted to match the vehicle.
