Andrey Parubia's burial location and date have been disclosed
On Tuesday, September 2, Ukraine will bid farewell to the late Andriy Parubiy, a prominent political figure, in a series of solemn events taking place in Lviv.
The day will begin with a memorial service, commencing at the Armenian Cathedral of St. Gregory the Illuminator at 7 PM on Monday, September 1. This will be an opportunity for the public to pay their respects and remember the life of the former Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada.
On Tuesday, the events will continue with a city-wide farewell ceremony, scheduled to take place at the Market Square near the City Hall at approximately 1:30 PM. This will be followed by the funeral ceremony, which will also take place at the Armenian Cathedral of St. Gregory the Illuminator at noon.
Following the funeral ceremony, Andriy Parubiy will be laid to rest at Lychakiv Cemetery in an afternoon burial service, starting at 4:00 PM.
