Announced Schedule for EYBL Scholastic League Teams

Expansion and Changes Await the Nike EYBL Scholastic League for the 2025-26 High School Season

The Nike EYBL Scholastic League, in its second year under its current name, is gearing up for a significant expansion and restructuring for the 2025-26 high school season.

The league, which has been a breeding ground for top-tier basketball talent, will grow from 14 teams to 20, marking a 43% increase in participating schools. The expansion will see the league divided into two divisions for the first time: a West Division and an East Division.

The West Division will consist of AZ Compass Prep, CIA Bella Vista, Dream City Christian, Faith Family Academy, Iowa United Prep, Link Academy, Sunrise Christian, Utah Prep, Veritas Academy, and Wasatch Academy. The East Division, on the other hand, will be home to Brewster Academy, CATS Academy, Christ School, La Lumiere, Long Island Lutheran, Montverde Academy, Oak Hill Academy, Spire Academy, Tennessee Collegiate Academy, and The St. James.

Sunrise Christian, who captured the 2021-22 regular season league title, will be among the teams vying for the championship in the expanded league. The regular season will consist of 140 games, with each team playing 14 contests from November to March.

The regular season games will take place at various events across the country, including the Five for the Fight, Thanksgiving Hoopfest, Players Era, Sunshine Classic, Marshall County, Bojangles Bash, DC Hoopfest, Main Event, NBA Cup, Hoophall West, Memphis Hoopfest, LaPorte Invitational, Hoophall Classic, Flyin to the Hoop, Air Capital Hoopfest, Quincy Shootout, Western Maryland Shootout, Long Island Lutheran Invitational, Dr Pepper Classic, and Nike EYBL Conference Championship.

In the previous season, Montverde Academy, who were crowned league champs in the first season (2020-21) the year prior to the teams officially starting a regular season slate with league standings, finished first in the league standings in both the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons when it was known as the National Interscholastic Basketball Conference.

The 2025-26 EYBL Scholastic Conference Tournament will take place March 12-14 in Augusta, Ga. Five teams from each division, plus two at-large teams, will qualify for the conference tournament. However, information about which teams will play outside the 2025-26 EYBL Scholastic League regular season games at specific events is not publicly available.

Broadcast information for the 140 games will be announced at a later date. The EYBL Scholastic season will conclude with the second annual EYBL Scholastic Conference Tournament in March. Full-time state association members are eligible to be FAB 50 ranked.

In the 2024-25 season, Brewster Academy, CIA Bella Vista, and Wasatch Academy tied for the EYBL Scholastic regular season crown with a 9-2 mark. The upcoming season promises to be an exciting one, with new teams, new divisions, and the chase for the league title.
