The Konstanz Fire Department made a splash at the 10th International Mosel Firefighter Combat Challenge in Ediger-Eller, Germany, from July 4-6, 2025. The team, consisting of Andreas Wilhelm, Christian Bradler, Sven Reuter, and Tim Hoffmann, represented their department as a sports team for the first time during the competition.

Thanks to the support of the association, the team donned new shirts for the event, which were a visible representation of their sponsorship and unity. The shirts were designed specifically for the Konstanz Fire Department's sports team and were a source of pride for the team members.

Over 280 firefighter athletes from 16 nations participated in the competition, including teams from Kuwait, South Africa, and the USA. However, details about the countries represented in the event, besides Germany, Kuwait, South Africa, and the USA, were not available in the search results.

Despite the challenging conditions, including summer heat and rain, the Konstanz team achieved respectable placements in the middle of the pack. In the tandem race, the team impressed with strong performances, securing 11th and 30th places overall.

The new team shirts were a symbol of the team's unity and representation as a sports team. The cost of the new shirts was not disclosed by the department. The shirts were a part of the team's uniform during the competition and were a symbol of their support and sponsorship.

The Konstanz Fire Department's participation in the competition was funded by the association. The team participated in individual, tandem, and relay races during the competition, showcasing their skills and camaraderie on the international stage. The team's debut at the International Mosel Firefighter Combat Challenge was a memorable one, and they look forward to future competitions.
