Anticipated iPhone Release Expected from Apple Corporation

Apple is gearing up for its September event, scheduled for Tuesday at 7:00 PM CEST. The tech giant is expected to unveil a new model of the Apple Watch, a revamped iPhone Pro, and an updated AirPods Pro.

The next Apple Watch is rumoured to be an adventure-ready device, specifically designed for extreme athletes and adventurers. Meanwhile, the larger Apple Watch Ultra is said to boast satellite communication capabilities, although specific details remain scarce.

In the smartphone realm, the new iPhone Pro is set to receive a noticeable new look, with a camera island on the back spanning the width of the device. According to reports, the iPhone Pro will also be noticeably thinner, with a thickness of around 5.5 millimeters, making it slimmer than current iPhones. Interestingly, the thinner iPhone will reportedly only have one camera lens.

The new iPhone, rumoured to be called "iPhone Air," is said to be lighter and dissipate heat better due to the aluminum frame, replacing the titanium frame of previous Pro models.

As for AI, the next iPhone will feature "Apple Intelligence," supported by the new A19 chip with powerful AI accelerators. This integration will enable more advanced on-device AI functions, such as a smarter Siri that can handle background tasks. However, Apple's AI features remain relatively modest compared to competitors, and the company is often considered cautious or somewhat behind in this area.

Apple's rivals like Samsung and Google have recently focused on marketing their competing models as personal daily assistants with many functions based on artificial intelligence. Last year, the iPhone 16 was heavily promoted with a focus on AI functions. However, Apple had to postpone the personalized next generation of the assistant software Siri, which is based on AI, to the coming year.

The most affordable Apple Watch model, the Apple Watch SE, is said to receive an update with new displays and chips. Meanwhile, the new AirPods Pro are said to be tested with a pulse measurement sensor and are also in development for real-time language translation of conversations.

Rumours of a thinner iPhone have been circulating for some time, and while Apple has not used color accents on Pro devices recently, the new generation is said to come in orange.
