Apple's Fitness+ Service Seems to Be Commencing Soon
Apple's latest subscription service, Fitness+, is set to launch later this year, with an official date yet to be revealed. This exciting new offering will be exclusive to Best Buy, as confirmed by a sponsored ad on Instagram.
Fitness+ will be a valuable addition to Apple's service portfolio, joining the recently launched Apple One premier plan. The service will cost $10 per month, $80 per year, or $30 per month when bundled with other services through Apple One's premier tier. For a limited time, Best Buy customers who purchase an Apple Watch will receive six free months of Fitness+.
Upon launch, Fitness+ will be available for free for a month to all other Apple Watch users with a Series 3 or later. The service can be shared with up to five other family members through Apple One.
The app will work seamlessly with the Apple Watch, highlighting progress for a user's Activity rings as the workout progresses on-screen. It will also use previously completed workouts to suggest new classes, ensuring a personalised fitness experience.
Strength-training courses with Betina Gozo and other experienced Fitness+ instructors will be available at launch. New workouts will appear in the new Fitness app each week for subscribers.
Emily Fayette, a Fitness+ instructor, hinted at the service's imminent arrival, mentioning that it would be arriving "soon." Several Fitness+ instructors have been actively promoting the service on their personal accounts in the last week.
While the official Apple Fitness Instagram account hasn't posted since September, eagle-eyed outlets have spotted hints that Apple is preparing to launch Fitness+ soon. New promotional materials and social posts from Fitness+ instructors have been observed, further fueling speculation.
No official launch date for Fitness+ has been revealed yet, but with the growing excitement surrounding the service, it won't be long until we can all get moving with Apple Fitness+. Stay tuned for more updates!
