Moselbad in Koblenz Set to Open Doors on August 24

The long-awaited opening of the Moselbad in Koblenz is just around the corner, with public swimming and sauna operations set to commence on August 25, 2024, at 10 am.

Located in the heart of the city, the Moselbad offers a unique blend of aquatic activities, relaxation, and picturesque views. The facility, managed by Koblenzer Bäder GmbH, boasts five swimming pools and six saunas, as well as a sauna garden, ensuring a variety of options for both sports swimming and shared water fun.

The outdoor area is a haven for relaxation and unwinding, offering play and sports areas, lounging, and seating options. It provides a breathtaking view of the pond and the Mosel River, offering a panoramic view of the city of Koblenz.

The Moselbad's culinary offerings are another significant aspect of the overall experience. Operations manager Daniel Genz, who has been instrumental in the preparations, stated that everything is in full swing for the perfect start of the Moselbad.

The Moselbad had a second pre-opening on August 9, 2024, where around 200 visitors tested the facility. Free tickets for the Moselbad were given away via social media and the press during this event.

The official political opening of the Moselbad will take place on August 24, 2024. In the afternoon, between 2-4 pm, there will be a free opening celebration for the public to enjoy.

Christian Kuhn, the managing director of Koblenzer Bäder GmbH, and Daniel Genz, the operations manager of the Moselbad, are looking forward to each visitor and are excited to share this new addition to Koblenz's attractions.
