ARCAM introduces integrated amplifiers at CEDIA Expo 2025
In an exciting development for audiophiles, ARCAM has announced its new line of integrated amplifiers: the A5+, A15+, and flagship A25+. These amplifiers will make their American debut at CEDIA Expo 2025, booth #2512, and start shipping in early Q4 2025.
Noise reduction is a key engineering focus in these amplifiers. By selectively powering down idle components, the overall noise floor is significantly decreased, resulting in a cleaner and more precise sound. The A25+, for instance, includes a new transformer with dedicated winding for digital and DAC circuitry, double linear regulation in the analog power supplies, and further power and mains filtering refinements.
The A25+ is the flagship Radia+ integrated amplifier, delivering 2x100W of Class G power. It features a precision-cut glass front panel, an ESS9018 DAC dedicated to SPDIF inputs, a USB-C input, HDMI eARC, and an OLED display. The A25+ will retail for $1999.95.
The A15+ provides 2x80W Class AB amplification, HDMI eARC for seamless TV integration, and all the wireless upgrades of the A5+. Its MSRP is $1499.95. The A5+ offers 2x50W Class AB power and a wide range of digital and analog inputs, including a tuned MM phono stage. It now includes Auracast, upgraded Bluetooth 5.4, and a reduced-noise power supply, with an MSRP of $1199.95.
All three models in the new line incorporate ARCAM's latest Bluetooth 5.4 platform, featuring Snapdragon Sound (AptX Lossless) for bit-perfect CD-quality streaming, LE Audio, and Auracast. This technology allows multiple devices to stream audio to multiple speakers simultaneously, offering a new level of flexibility for home audio setups.
The manufacturer of these new amplifiers is Hegel, and they have received upgrades that reduce unwanted current within the chassis, as previously mentioned. The A25+, A15+, and A5+ amplifiers also benefit from component refinements that cut PCB interference and lower power supply impedance.
This new line of amplifiers from ARCAM promises to deliver improved sound quality, enhanced connectivity, and a sleek, modern design. Audio enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting their arrival later this year.
