Area traffic management near Steinmüllergelände
On August 22, 2021, the Circles Police Department Oberbergischer Kreis carried out traffic checks in the Steinmüller area. The operation, which focused on speed and tuning violations, resulted in a significant number of offenses being recorded.
The driver traveling the fastest was clocked at 67 km/h in a 30 km/h zone, but the name of this individual was not disclosed in the search results. Five drivers were fined for illegal tuning, and two drivers each received a notice of administrative offense for using their phones while driving.
In addition to the Circles Police Department, the traffic accident prevention department also participated in the checks. The purpose of these checks was not only to enforce traffic laws but also to engage in traffic didactic discussions with the mostly young drivers involved.

It was also reported that another driver can expect a notice of administrative offense for running a red light during the same traffic checks. In total, 62 speeding offenses were recorded during the operation.
