Ecobat Sells Anode Manufacturing Business in Arizona to Inppamet Ltda

Ecobat, a leading player in the recycling industry, has announced the sale of its anode manufacturing business in Arizona to Inppamet Ltda. The sale, which was confirmed by Tom Slabe, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ecobat, was completed on September 2, 2025.

The sale includes Ecobat's fabrication facility in Casa Grande, Arizona, a state-of-the-art anode manufacturing facility that has been producing rolled lead anodes for the copper and zinc mining industries since the 1980s. The Casa Grande facility's operations will continue uninterrupted following the sale.

The sale is part of Ecobat's ongoing commitment to focus on core recycling operations. The company has further streamlined its portfolio by selling its anode manufacturing business in Arizona. This move does not affect Ecobat's focus on its core recycling operations.

Inppamet Ltda, the new owner, aims to expand its leadership and capabilities in high-performance anode production for the mining and metallurgical industries with this acquisition. The company will now serve the copper and zinc mining sectors through Ecobat's advanced fabrication facility.

Ecobat will continue to pursue additional opportunities to maximize value for shareholders beyond the transactions. The sale of the anode manufacturing business in Arizona is not the only transaction the company is pursuing to create value for its shareholders.

The sale was announced through PRNewswire, and the announcement does not affect the ongoing operations of the Casa Grande facility. Ecobat assures its stakeholders that the sale does not change the company's focus on its core recycling operations.
