Unidentified Robbers Sought in Multiple Cities
Authorities in Neuss are on the hunt for a pair of robbers who have been suspected in a series of crimes across Gütersloh and Bochum, with the latest incident occurring at the Nievenheim West Rest Area on the A57 on December 10, 2020.
The police have released photographs of the men taken during the crime, but their identities remain a mystery due to the masks they wore. The suspects are described as follows:
- The first suspect is a male with a slim build, brown eyes, standing between 178 cm and 188 cm tall, and approximately 20 to 30 years old. He was wearing a dark hoodie and jeans.
- The second suspect is a muscular male, approximately 170 cm tall, also between 20 to 30 years old. He was wearing a dark hoodie with a large white Umbro emblem on the back and a small emblem on the right chest. He also donned a cap with a red visor, black short pants, and white sneakers.
The robbers are believed to have obtained money during these incidents, and they have also been linked to a robbery at a gas station on the Westrest Area of Nievenheim on the A57. However, the police have yet to identify the suspects from this particular crime due to a lack of sufficient evidence and unclear leads linking them to the crimes in Bochum and Gütersloh.
In an effort to gather more insights, the Criminal Commissioner 12 in Neuss is asking for the public's help. They are encouraging anyone with information to contact them at the phone number 02131 300-0. The police are also reinforcing their search for the robbers with the photographs taken during the crimes.
Despite the photographs, they have not been very helpful in identifying the robbers due to the masks they were wearing. The police are urging anyone with any details, no matter how small, to come forward and help in solving these cases.
