A 30-year-old man from Dußlingen was arrested on Thursday morning in a joint operation between the drug investigation group and the Criminal Police Directorate Esslingen. The man is believed to have been running a large-scale cocaine trade and is now under suspicion of armed illegal trade in narcotics.
The arrest took place at the Police Headquarters Reutlingen, and the suspect was provisionally arrested by officers involved in the investigation. He was then brought before the examining magistrate at Tübingen District Court on the same day, and a custody order was issued, executed by the magistrate.
The search of the suspect's apartment, which took place on the same morning, revealed several grams of cocaine and amphetamine, as well as two firearms and ammunition. These items were seized during the search.
The investigation is ongoing, and further details about the name of the head of the Police Inspectorate Reutlingen involved in the case, as well as any new location for the investigation or arrest, have not been disclosed. The Public Prosecutor's Office Tübingen is leading the investigation.
It's worth noting that the suspect was under suspicion during previous investigations. The arrest marks a significant development in the ongoing fight against illegal drug trafficking in the region.
The suspect is currently in custody in a correctional facility, and the German national remains under investigation for his alleged involvement in the illegal drug trade. The public is reminded that all individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
