Arrest Made Following Search: 28-Year-Old Now in Custody
On Tuesday afternoon in Oberhausen, a 28-year-old man was arrested by police following a robbery in the city centre. The arrest took place within the jurisdiction of the Oberhausen Police Headquarters.
The man was initially spotted on Friedrich-Karl-StraΓe. He attempted to evade the officers, leading to a foot pursuit. However, he was apprehended after a short distance.
Upon search, the man was found to be carrying a significant amount of cannabis, packaged in various zip-top bags. He was also found to be carrying two smartphones and a telescopic baton. The seizure of narcotics, smartphones, and a baton from the 28-year-old was part of the arrest.
The narcotics, smartphones, and baton seized from the 28-year-old were confiscated. The man is suspected of dealing in narcotics.
