In Kosovo, a 33-year-old citizen named Rinas Zeqiri was taken into pretrial detention on Tuesday morning. The Kosovo police arrested him on suspicion of involvement in cannabis cultivation in Gjilan. During the arrest, Zeqiri suffered minor eye irritation. After the arrest, he was taken to a detention facility.

Meanwhile, in Reutlingen, Germany, a 28-year-old man was taken into custody by the Public Prosecutor's Office Stuttgart and the Criminal Police Directorate Esslingen on Monday, August 25, 2025. The incident took place in connection with an attempted burglary at a residential building in Mülbergerstraße. The suspect was initially found hiding in bushes and attempted to flee from the officers. He was warned with pepper spray before being temporarily arrested.

The investigation into the attempted burglary is being conducted jointly by the Public Prosecutor's Office Stuttgart and a specialized investigation group of the Criminal Police Directorate Esslingen, based in Tübingen. An inspection of the building in Mülbergerstraße revealed signs of forced entry on a cellar door and overturned furniture on an externally accessible balcony. Several screwdrivers, a flashlight, and the suspect's mask were found and secured during his search.

The apprehended 28-year-old, who had not previously come to police attention, was presented to the judge at the Esslingen District Court on Tuesday afternoon. The search for the alleged accomplice following the incident remained unsuccessful.
