Arrest made in Kamchatka of an individual identified as a psychopath.

A 28-year-old local resident in Ust-Bolsheretsk district of Kamchatka Krai is facing trial for a series of crimes committed between November and December 2024. The suspect, who remains unnamed in available sources, is under the care of specialists for mental and behavioral disorders caused by the simultaneous use of several narcotic and psychoactive substances.

The regional prosecutor's office is investigating these crimes, which allegedly include eight offenses in just two months. The suspect is charged with intentional infliction of light bodily harm using an object as a weapon, public insult, using violence against a representative of authority, torture, and illegal entry into a dwelling.

According to reports, the suspect attacked a witness who tried to intervene, using a motorcycle helmet. The suspect also verbally abused a responding police officer and resisted arrest during one of the incidents.

The suspect is also accused of repeatedly abusing and assaulting his cohabitant. In one incident, the cohabitant sought refuge in a friend's apartment, but the suspect broke into the apartment to find his cohabitant. During the incidents, the suspect is said to have threatened his cohabitant with death.

The suspect is also charged with three counts of threat of murder. No new victim or witness information is provided in the available sources.
