Arrest Made on Repeat Offender, 36 Years Old
Man Arrested for Multiple Incidents in Gifhorn
A 36-year-old man, known to the police for previous incidents, found himself back in custody following a series of disturbing events in the town of Gifhorn.
The trouble began late last night when the man assaulted a woman with a stick at the city train station. The police were promptly notified, and the news was transmitted by the Police Inspectorate Gifhorn to news aktuell.
Early this morning, the man was initially released from custody. However, he did not stay out of trouble for long. He was later involved in a string of incidents, including damaging the rear window of a parked car and causing further police incidents.
Several patrol cars were dispatched to the scene, and the man was eventually found hiding in bushes. The officers found him at the turnaround of Oldaustraße. It was discovered that the man was intoxicated, with a breath alcohol content of 0.41%.
In addition to damaging the car, the man also caused damage to several other vehicles. As a result, he was re-arrested and taken into custody.
