Arrest of Suspects in Poland: 250718-2
The Rhein-Erft District Police are currently investigating a series of burglaries that have taken place in Frechen, Bedburg, and Hürth over the past two days.
On the night to Friday, 18th July, a burglary occurred in Hürth. The police were alerted to the scene and initially surrounded the building. However, no further details about the loot or the ongoing investigation in Hürth have been provided.
In Bedburg, a burglary occurred between approximately 16:00 and 16:45 on Heinsbergerstraße. Initial investigations suggest that the suspects in Bedburg stole money and valuables. Three suspects were seen during the burglary, one estimated to be 30-40 years old, 179 cm tall, and the others 16-18 years old, 160 cm tall. All suspects were wearing grey t-shirts, long dark pants, and had black hair.
The investigators of the Criminal Technical Service 13 suspect a 23-year-old male in connection with the break-ins in Frechen, Bedburg, and Hürth on July 17 and 18, and this suspect was observed in Bedburg.
The burglary in Frechen occurred between 13:00 and 19:00 on Aachener Straße and Overbeckstraße. Valuable items, money, and perfume were stolen during this incident. Whether the perpetrators made off with any loot is part of the ongoing investigation.
In a separate incident, unknown individuals broke into a house on Bachemer Straße in Gleuel around 03:00. Officers secured traces at the scene, and the Rhein-Erft District Police have filed criminal charges related to the burglary in Gleuel. No further details about the loot or the ongoing investigation in Gleuel were provided.
