In a heartwarming gesture of support, the GEA Group, a global leader in the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries, recently made a donation of €1,000 to the Verein Kulturbuntes Bodenheim in DΓΌsseldorf, Germany.

The donation was handed over on September 2, 2025, by Dr. Danijel Anciger, site manager of GEA Hilge in Bodenheim. The funds will be used by the association to provide visits to theater performances and museums, swimming courses, and language promotion for various generations.

The GEA Group, established in 1881, operates globally and specialises in manufacturing machinery and equipment, advanced process technology, components, and comprehensive service solutions. Its site in Bodenheim, specifically, is the centre of competence for development, sales, and customer service, focusing on hygienic pumps for the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.

This donation is part of the GEA Foundation's social commitment, which was established at the beginning of 2025. The foundation supports global and local projects in MINT education, child poverty alleviation, infrastructure access, and disaster relief. In addition to this, it also supports projects worldwide in the fields of education, health, child poverty, and disaster relief.

Every second pharmaceutical separator used in essential health products like vaccines or innovative biopharmaceuticals is manufactured by GEA. This underscores the company's significant role in the pharmaceutical industry.

The GEA Foundation's Mission 30 strategy commits to donating one percent of its annual corporate result to build resilient communities. Through this strategy, the foundation aims to make a positive impact on society and contribute to the betterment of communities worldwide.

Doris Groß-Erlenbach, treasurer of the Verein Kulturbuntes Bodenheim, expressed her gratitude for the donation, stating that it would greatly benefit the cultural and educational offerings for the community.

As a company with over 18,000 employees and a turnover of around 5.4 billion EUR in the 2024 financial year, GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft continues to demonstrate its commitment to social responsibility. This donation is a testament to the company's dedication to supporting local communities and promoting cultural and educational opportunities.
