The IFA tech fair in Berlin is set to kick off on September 5, promising an exciting blend of innovation, entertainment, and sustainability. With over 1900 exhibitors participating, the event is not just about presenting product innovations, but about staging trends, brands, and other content for a broad audience.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is the "invisible operating system" of IFA this year, transforming the way people think, work, and communicate. AI will be experienceable in various ways at the fair, from modern ovens suggesting recipes and selecting optimal cooking programs, to smart home devices like cleaning robots using a camera with AI analysis to avoid vacuuming up items like shoelaces on the living room carpet.

Robots are taking over daily household tasks, as observed by the market research firm NIQ. Chinese manufacturers, such as Ecovacs and Yeedi from Shenzhen, China, are aggressively entering the market with products like vacuum and window-cleaning robots, as well as lawn mowers. These companies compete with rapid innovation cycles and aggressive pricing strategies, especially in window-cleaning and lawn-mowing robots. Modern lawn mowers can independently determine where they can move using AI and can navigate around obstacles like animals on the lawn.

Sustainability is another top theme at IFA. Experts estimate that refurbished devices currently hold a market share of around ten percent in smartphones.

The entertainment lineup is diverse and promising. Ikkimel will perform with guests on September 6th, with over 10,000 tickets already sold. Joy Denalane and Max Herre will take the stage on September 5th. German rock singer Deine Cousine, Evil Jared and Krogi, along with Sorvina, Danilo Timm and Anne West will perform on September 4th at the IFA open-air program. The open-air program concludes on September 7th with Jan BΓΆhmermann and Olli Schulz and their podcast "Fest & Flauschig".

To cater to a younger audience, the IFA is offering better working conditions for social media stars and supplementing the Generation Z program with a "Beauty Hub" focused on care products and a gaming area. The Mobility Track at IFA features new E-bikes and E-scooters for testing.

Entry for adults costs 19.50 euros. Children under 15 can visit the IFA for free. Influencers and content creators can stream from professional studios and use a stage for live formats at the Palais am Funkturm.

So, whether you're a tech enthusiast, a music lover, or just curious about the future of household robots, the IFA tech fair in Berlin has something for everyone. Don't miss out on this exciting event!
