The algorithm is optimized for the best action at a given moment, taking into account the notion of regret to minimize potential harm to humans. If a human partner makes a mistake or acts unpredictably, the robot's first move will be to correct the issue safely. The robot's strategy should be adaptable to all possible human scenarios, whether the human is a novice or an expert.
