In a recent survey among professionals, the preference for battery-operated tools in the daily work environment has become evident. The findings reveal that durability and long service life are top priorities for these professionals, with 26.5% of respondents emphasizing this as the most desired feature in battery systems.
Interestingly, a significant portion of professionals, 38.5%, also expressed a preference for longer battery runtime, while 19.5% sought improved battery durability. Compatibility between battery systems was another important concern, with 21% of professionals prioritizing the ability to use the same battery for multiple devices.
The survey also highlighted the importance of charging speed, with 18.5% of professionals desiring shorter charging times. Furthermore, 9% of respondents expressed a preference for lighter weight batteries.
The data shows that professionals value simplified battery and charging management in cross-manufacturer battery systems, with almost three-quarters of respondents appreciating this feature. Additionally, two-thirds of respondents appreciate the greater flexibility in tool selection offered by these systems.
