In the world of Pro AV, some of the most influential figures are making waves, not just in their respective companies, but also in their personal lives. Here's a snapshot of a few key players and their passions outside of the industry.
Anders Karlsson, the CEO of Humly, based in Stockholm, Sweden, is not just focused on technology. When he's not working, Karlsson enjoys downhill skiing, mountain biking, and indulging in video games.
Across the Atlantic, in Seminole, FL, Just Add Power is the company where Anders Karlsson holds the CEO position. The company, however, is not the only string to his bow. Karlsson is also making an impact in Humly, where he focuses on the human side of technology.
In Central Massachusetts, Nicole Corbin is the VP of Business Operations at Utelogy. Meanwhile, in New Jersey, Exertis Almo is home to Vibhav Singh, Co-Founder and CEO of XTEN-AV, based in New York, NY. Singh is passionate about cricket and spending time with his one-year-old daughter, when he's not working.
At XTEN-AV, Sahil Dhingra is the other Co-Founder, and together with Singh, they have also co-founded Lenskart and Kae Capital.
In Washington, DC, XTEN-AV is also home to Martin, the Director of Training and Development. Martin is a regular CrossFit attendee, enjoys playing soccer, and is a self-confessed video game enthusiast. Martin facilitates learning and understanding within Just Add Power.
In Brooklyn, New York, Arup employs Michael Coney as a Graduate Experience Designer. Outside of work, Coney is married to his high school sweetheart and is a fantasy football aficionado.
In San Jose, CA, AVer USA has Sheon Harvey as the Regional Sales Manager. Harvey is responsible for designing audio projects and closing telecommunication deals.
Lastly, in Seminole, FL, Just Add Power has Gus Marcondes as the Global Training Manager. Marcondes infuses technical training with musical metaphors and anecdotes. Outside of work, Marcondes is a member of the "Tuto Tribe," where he sings and writes music, and performs at European festivals.
