Asphalt Roof Restoration in Hürth-Efferen

In the heart of the Efferen district in Hürth, the city of Essen is carrying out an asphalt renewal project. The focus of the current phase is on Luxemburger Straße, where construction work is scheduled to begin on June 30, 2025, and last approximately until July 19, 2025.

During this period, a temporary one-way street regulation will be in place on Luxemburger Straße, between the roundabout Luxemburger Straße/Jägerpfad and the curve area Luxemburger Straße/Beselerstraße. The work zone will be managed as a one-way street in the direction of Beselerstraße.

The construction work includes the removal of existing guide facilities, application of a new asphalt surface, and subsequent marking of the roadway. The city utilities have asked for understanding from road users and urged the observance of no-parking zones, traffic management, closures, and construction site signs. Compliance with these regulations is essential for a smooth and efficient course of the construction work.

The direction of traffic flow in the affected section will be towards Beselerstraße. It is important to note that during the work on Luxemburger Straße, traffic management will be implemented as a one-way street in the direction of Beselerstraße.

Meanwhile, the work in Bachstraße (between Kaulardstraße and Berrenrather Straße) is still expected to end on 28.06.2025. The work in Krankenhausstraße (section "In den Höhnen" to Beselerstraße) has already been completed.

This ongoing asphalt renewal project in the Efferen district is part of the city's commitment to maintaining and improving its infrastructure. The city of Hürth is continuing its efforts to ensure the safety and smooth flow of traffic in the area.

Work hours will be from 6:30 AM to approximately 7:00 PM. The city urges road users to plan their journeys accordingly and to expect delays during this period. The city appreciates the patience and understanding of the public during this necessary construction work.
