Auction for a limited-edition Panini card commemorating Paige Bueckers' rookie season officially launched.

In a groundbreaking performance, rookie Paige Bueckers made history in the WNBA, becoming the first player ever to score at least 40 points while shooting over 80 percent from the field. This remarkable feat took place during her debut game, further solidifying her status as a force to be reckoned with in the league.

The historic game has also ignited a growing demand for women's basketball memorabilia, with Bueckers' accomplishments serving as a catalyst. This trend is particularly evident in the auction for the one-of-a-kind Paige Bueckers One-of-One Instant Access card, which will be available exclusively through Panini's official website starting from 3:00 p.m. ET on Friday.

The card, part of Panini's WNBA Instant Access series, features Bueckers with the inscription "1st All Star Game," a testament to her impressive debut season. The auction for this unique piece of memorabilia will be held using Panini's Dutch Auction format, starting at a high price of $15,000.

Strong competition is expected among collectors seeking to own a unique piece of Bueckers' first season. The card's release ties directly to Bueckers' All-Star debut and her historic 44-point performance this week.

Bueckers' impact on the court is not limited to her scoring ability. She ranks fifth in scoring (19.7 points per game), ninth in assists (5.3), and fourth in steals (1.7) in the WNBA, making her the only player ranked in the top 10 in all three categories.

Head coach Chris Koclanes has praised Bueckers' poise and ability to maintain her own speed and tempo, attributes that have undoubtedly contributed to her success. Bueckers has also broken the Dallas Wings' record for most field goals in a game with 17 and boasts the most double-digit scoring outings among rookies, with 29.

The WNBA has also seen unprecedented growth, setting a new regular-season attendance record, indicating continued interest and support for the league. The growing demand for women's basketball memorabilia, particularly driven by the emergence of young talents like Bueckers and Caitlin Clark, suggests that this trend is here to stay.

In addition to the one-of-a-kind card, Panini will also release a limited run of 30 additional Bueckers Instant cards. These cards offer fans a chance to own a piece of Bueckers' historic rookie season at a more accessible price point.

As the WNBA continues to grow and its stars make history, the demand for memorabilia is expected to follow suit. With Paige Bueckers' impressive debut season, collectors and fans alike have a unique opportunity to own a piece of this historic moment.
