In an interview with People, Butler discussed his past injuries that he encountered during his acting career. He mentioned a shin injury from hopping over something, as well as a nerve issue in his foot that left him in pain for eight months. During the press tour for "Caught Steeling," Butler also shared his intense approach for his role as Hank Thompson. He went as far as sleeping in the apartment set for one night, playing music, dancing around, and even eating Chinese food to immerse himself in the character.
