Attempted Burglary in Elmshorn's Panjestraße

On the evening of July 22, 2025, an attempted burglary took place in a multi-family building on Panjestraße, Elmshorn. The incident occurred at 19:03, as reported by news aktuell.

The resident of a ground-floor apartment was alerted by noises and voices coming from his kitchen. Upon investigation, he found an unkempt man, approximately 35 years old, with short black hair, wearing a black shirt and jeans, having a 3-day beard growth, and an unusually strong body odor. The man spoke in a language that the resident did not understand. It is unknown whether another person was nearby or if the man was talking to himself.

The suspect, disturbed during the attempted crime, fled immediately. No new information about the suspect's identity or language was provided. The investigation into the attempted burglary on Panjestraße is being handled by the Pinneberg Criminal Police.
