In the heart of Hagen-Altenhagen, an unusual incident occurred near the entrance to Gertrudstraße on September 3, 2025. A shopping cart, seemingly on a roll, collided with a Seat Arona at the Märkischer Ring, causing minor damage to the vehicle.
According to the owner of the Seat, a 21-year-old, the shopping cart hit his car several times, resulting in several damages. The shopping cart continued its path, eventually falling over on the opposite side of the road.
The Police Hagen is actively investigating this incident, which they believe to be a case of dangerous interference in road traffic and property damage. Two men, aged 17 and 21, are suspected to be responsible for rolling the shopping cart down Gertrudstraße. These individuals were reportedly seen breaking into vehicles and stealing tools before being apprehended by the police near the scene in Dinslaken.
