In the small town of Herne, a shocking incident occurred on the evening of Friday, August 29. At approximately 8:50 PM, a robbery took place at a gas station located on Dorstener Straße 201.

The Criminal Police are currently investigating the armed robbery, with the suspect still unknown. The perpetrator is described as a male aged between 20 and 30, with blonde hair. He was wearing a dark tracksuit, a black cap with the white inscription "ICON," and a black cloth covering his face.

The gas station employee, a 49-year-old man from Gelsenkirchen, was threatened with a firearm by the suspect. The suspect demanded cash from the employee before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction.

The immediate search of the area by police officers was unsuccessful, and the suspect's identity and whereabouts remain unknown.
