Authorities seek individuals who may have observed a collision involving an e-scooter and a pedelec.
In an unfortunate incident on August 27, 2025, a hit-and-run accident occurred on the bike path of Weseler StraΓe in Dinslaken. The accident involved a 14-year-old driver of an E-scooter and an unknown Pedelec rider.
According to the Traffic Commission 2 of the police in Dinslaken, the 14-year-old was coming from the connecting path between Waltraudweg and B 8 when the collision occurred. The Pedelec rider, described as a man, approximately 23-28 years old, around 175 cm tall, with short blonde curls, was riding a black women's Pedelec. He was traveling from Dinslaken towards Voerde at around 07:40.
The collision caused the Pedelec rider to fall, but he got up, adjusted the handlebars, and left the scene without stopping. The 14-year-old was injured in the collision. Witnesses to the accident are being sought by the Traffic Commission 2 of the police, and anyone with information about the accident or the fleeing Pedelec rider is asked to contact the police in Dinslaken, Tel.: 02064 / 622-0.
