Authorities seek individuals who may have observed the incident
On March 10, 2025, a traffic accident occurred on federal road 10 near the Otto-Hirsch-Bridge, Stuttgart-Hedelfingen. The incident involved two vehicles: a Citroën driven by a 71-year-old driver and a Ford Transit driven by a driver whose identity is currently unknown.
The 71-year-old driver sustained severe injuries and was taken to a hospital. After the accident, the Citroën brushed against a VW driven by a 51-year-old man before crashing into the center barrier. Initial estimates suggest damages of approximately 30,000 euros.
Emergency services were called to attend to the injured, and traffic was diverted via the hard shoulder during the accident investigation, causing traffic disruptions. Witnesses are asked to contact the traffic police at +4971189904100.
The accident investigation is ongoing, and the possible influence of medication on the suspected accident causer could not be ruled out. A blood sample was taken.
