In a shocking turn of events, the Fehmarn police station has initiated an investigation following a suspected dangerous bodily harm incident that occurred in Burg auf Fehmarn on August 23, 2025.
The incident, which took place around 3:30 AM at the local market, left a 28-year-old man from Ostholstein unconscious and injured. The victim was swiftly attended to by the rescue service and taken to a hospital for treatment.
The police have identified a suspect in the case, a 22-year-old Polish man, who was found to have a preliminary breath alcohol value of 1.7 per thousand. However, the investigation is currently focused on identifying the second suspect involved in the incident.
